Is there anything different in the way a Messianic synagogue is set up, or what it contains, compared to a Jewish synagogue, Dave? I've visited a couple of synagogues but have had very little contact with Messianic groups here, and never visited their places of worship.

Outwardly, no. It will probably be closer to a Reform shul than an Orthodox. We will have an over head projector screen, and we will not be facing east. (Our property is not situated to allow that)

I'm relaxing, and reading a wedding/marriage forum. Going to my hubby's parents' house soon, then to mine. Should be a fun day, with a lot of noise, hugs, and food

Doing laundry at the moment. About ready to go make bread because my youngest son wants homemade bread. DH told me which recipe he wants me to try from this book he's read, and it seems simple and fast enough, so I'll use that one. Decorated the house earlier today. It was a pretty trick to decorate the tree while our cat was climbing it and batting at ornaments. Needless to say none of the breakables went on it this year.
