Time flies! We get old quickly. It's better to spend some time on salvation.

Saturday is May 30th
next weekend is the first weekend of the month

This weekend we are flying to New York for a big family celebration, and we will no doubt see cousins we haven't seen for many years. We're also taking in a Broadway play. We don't get back to NY as often as we did when my parents were still alive, so I am looking forward to renewing relationships and building memories.

Family stuff. Baseball, hockey, fishing, etc. I usually go to Confession on Saturdays too.

I don't seem to have the ability to sleep in, so usually I go to the gym early and swim my laps. Depending on time, I may drop in on the Saturday morning Yoga class. Tomorrow will be my monthly run to Costco for household items and office supplies. I need to get some shopping in, and I have an appointment with my hairdresser. It will be a busy day tomorrow.

I have absolutely no idea. I take things one day at a time now.

Shopping, chores, home maintenance, cooking. About sundown, I start getting mentally ready for Sunday Mass. We also watch some sports, baseball now.

I usually ride bike in the morning and do some reading/studying. In the afternoon, I catechize children who had their First Communion, and later, serve at the 6PM Mass. After that, I visit my family or hang out with my friends.

I just signed up to take circus classes on Saturdays this summer. I love aerial silks and lyra. I should find something deeper to add to it. It's nice there are special Saturday devotions.

^ Eta - Ha. My dad has encouraged me to try sleeping till noon at least once on a weekend because this is the time of my life when it's acceptable to, and one day I'll wish it was still an option.

the 'enjoy' part comes when you have instant gratification as the yard begins to look like those landscaping pictures, the carpet appears fresh, you get to drink in the warm fluffiness and smell of clean laundry, the smoothness of the freshly ironed shirts, and a dog buddy who smells and looks great.

It's all part of what I call 'taming the wild beast, and bringing order into life.'

Just think of yourself as a ringmaster, and it all falls into place.

LOL yep, i get it! I like the sound of the dishwasher doing the work for me, (I REALLY wish we had one when i was young!)
but i only get to enjoy the sound if i first load the dishes in and push the button.
