Yes they lost out on a lot of good content after starting the bandwagon rolling and others caught on, diluting the pool. But at the same time there is a lot of good original content from other countries that are fresh ideas compared to the usual Hollywood tripe.
Living outside the box is a statement against the ways of man in itself. You have heard of being in the world but not of it. Living outside the box is living outside the world man has built upon our own image, living instead in the counter-culture to the culture of man, the Kingdom. Jesus said in doing so we were not to rebel against the governments and ways of man but to simply present an alternate way of life. The same simple gesture of sowing seeds only, not demanding how they grow or attacking tares.
