the prince by Machiovelli (i think i just misspelled his name)
A problem from Hell was very long, but the research is great. Leaves one feeling rather helpless though, especially with the crisis that is going on in Sudan at the moment.

Also have the Prince lying next to my bed, read a bit of it, but cant really say I got into it much.

i just finished reading Stop Laughing At Me by Jodee Blanco for readers theater. its a good book if u don't mind things that are kind of depressing. its a nonfiction book written about Jodee's life and how she was always an outcast in school and how they picked on her and such. its great, i would suggest reading it.

"The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren (printed book)
"Mere Christianity" by C. S. Lewis (audio book form, listening to while driving)

Also, ladybug01, FYI: I read a lot of St. Theresa of Avila years ago. I like her a lot as a saint...incredibly smart, and far more guts than I have.

Albert Camus- "The Stranger"
"The Stranger" is great. It's probably been about 15 yrs. since I read it, but it is still on my bookshelf and very few of the books I read that long ago are.

Saddam: King of Terror by Con Coughlin

if anyone believes Saddam Hussein should just have been left alone while inspectors looked and looked and looked and looked while being deceived left and right, up and down, this is a good book to read. Hussein deserved to removed by a world coalition. Sadly, much of the world cared very little about what went on within Iraq's borders while certain countries made money off Iraq's oil and while Hussein made money off them while never taking care of his own citizens. This book helps illustrate the sick world of Hussein and how it should never have been tolerated.
