Currently: East of Eden by John Steinbeck
I love it! Highly recommend it. It's sooo good. Allegory to the story of Adam and Eve/Cain and Abel. Reflects human nature.

Just finished all 12 books in the Left Behind series, I'm currently trying to work through the whole Bible in a year (reading Jerimiah, Psalms and Nehimiah now) and The Lord of the Flies for English class.

I've just finished Albert Camus' "The Stranger" and "The Fall."
I've just finished Virgil's "Aeneid," and a close reading of Hesiod's "Theogony."
I'm currently on:
Robert Graves' "The Greek Myths."
An abridgement of the Ramayana, which I stopped reading, intending to purchase the unabridged translation instead.
Halo: The Flood (yeah, I'm a Halo nerd)

But "The Stranger." Blah. I thought the protagonist was an imbecile. I utterly failed any connection with him. I try to imagine that Camus may have intended this, but it just wouldn't make sense. Overall I think the narrative is incoherent. One indeed encounters the absurd, but I don't believe I encountered the absurd that Camus was intending.

The Dark Tower series, by Stephen King - just started #6, Song of Susannah
Prayer and the Art of Volkswagen Maintenance, by Donald Miller
In the middle of the Prince of Nothing series, by R. Scott Bakker. I finished "The Darkness that Comes Before" this summer, but haven't had time to read "The Warrior-Prophet."
Also just finished recently "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell", by Susanna Clarke.
