CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Rereading (for the thousandth time) my old childhood favorite "Sunnanäng" by Astrid Lindgren. It's food for the soul!
It's "Dead Until Dark", but close enough
Fantastic to find another person here who loves the show and has read or is reading the books. I finished "Living Dead In Dallas" a couple of weeks ago (the second book - and the book that Season 2 is based on) and am now eagerly awaiting my copy of "Club Dead" to arrive in the mail!
LOL...typo on my part
I've already bought Living Dead in Dallas and Club Dead. I actually bought the second book first by mistake and when I started reading it I realized what I had done. Our local book store didn't have the first book of the series, so I bought it while out of town 2 days ago. I'm nearly finished with it, but I have to work long shifts the next 2 days so I don't know when I'll get to finish it.

Ah I see, I've ordered most of my Sookie books online, only two were bought in an actual store. Got a whole batch of them in my mailbox the other day; Club Dead, Dead Until Dark, Dead As A Doornail and Definitely Dead so I'm set for the next coming weeks.
Hehe, we all make funny typos. This one was especially funny considering they're Vampires and they are most definitely dead until dark. They wouldn't be dead until dawn but dead AT dawn, haha.LOL...typo on my part
