I'm just starting the Circle Trilogy by Ted Dekker (first book of which is entitled, "Black"), I'm off-and-on reading "The Remnant" by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins (LB series), and "True Spirituality" by Francis A. Schaeffer.

"Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe.

It's a wonderful, touching novel about the Ibo people from Nigeria, whose culture and traditions are destroyed by British Colonialist missionaries. The final sentence of the book is one of the most memorable lines I ever read:

"He had already chosen the title of the book after much thought: The Pacification of the Primitive Tribes of the Lower Niger."
