Good book series. Only problem with King - uses the Lord's name in vain waaay too much. That's why I don't read him much like I used to.

Didn't know that. I'm new to King's books. I'm currently reading Carrie, and I haven't bumped into any language that used the Lord's name in vain... yet?

I didn't read Carrie, but it's in a good number of his works. I still think that he is an exceptional autother, though. The Dark Tower books series was awesome - kind of a lame ending, though.


Right now, I'm re-reading LOTR.

"Maelstrom" -Peter Watts

I like King a lot, he does use the Lord's name in vain a lot, but he's still a wonderful author. You kinda hafta wonder what it's like inside his head when you read his stories. I mean, how on earth did he come up with all this? Sometimes it's soooo twisted, it's hard to think of someone writing such a twisted charecter.
Such is the talented I suppose.

Bernard Cornwell rocks. I personally love his Richard Sharpe series. I do have to get around to reading the Stonehenge one soon; I’ve heard good things about it.

Interesting book, about a girl who believes she's turning into an Angel and stops eating because angels don't eat. She is compleatly and thoughly convinced that she's growing wings. It's not just an "ana-excuse"
