If the testimony was behind closed doors, then it is possible that some of it is classified and would have to be vetted before being released? The full committee, GOP included, heard the testimony. Who is leaking what (as opposed to giving official statements)?

They must know that they don't have much of a case but want to keep the semblance of an impeachment hearing going so that they can vote to impeach and claim to have followed due process. I assume that it's basically for campaign purposes since doing it the way they are is not likely to induce more Republican Senators to vote to convict, not if the House didn't even allow a bona fide investigation before holding an impeachment vote.

Given that the Republican administation had been concerned about the Ukraine call since July, and tried to quash the whistleblower report, and is currently refusing to allow Sondland to testify ... I am comfortable with giving the Investigative Committee a few more days before I become concerned with them not being transparent ...
