yeah, it is kinda aimed at younger girls

but it does not make me want to hit myself
most anime is so dumb it makes me want to hit myself

I think I read about it, but decided to skip it cause it seemed like shojo. May have to look it up again...

Not all shojos are horrible, just that they are not aimed towards men since they are for girls. However, I do believe I have watched some shojos that are usually good, but I do tend to avoid some, especially the so-called "reverse harem".

Speaking of shojo, have you watched a show called, "Puella Magi Madoka Magi"? It's not a shojo, but a magical girl genre turned on its head. It's pretty interesting and explores the whole concept of the magical girl genre and its flaws.
