  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah - I'm really liking this bell curve... it's A LOT different to the secular one (it's majority is between 28-30, with 26-28 on a tie with 30-32)...

I was surprised to see, that in the 21st century, Christian couples are still marrying relatively young - I thought that it would be almost evened out now. NOT saying marrying young is good OR bad (I've seen just as many bad marriages from young couples as I have good - more to reasoning for it, and an inability to work through issues before marriage), just that I'm surprised there is still such a difference between secular and Christian married couples.

Keep the information coming - this is more a hobby than for anything technical!

My husband and I were both 25. He was 25 and one week, I was 25 and 3 days. We are coming up to our 4th anniversary in April.

I forgot to add, that even though a lot of my Christian friends were married younger, I still have Christian friends who are unmarried at 28 and over. A lot of my non-Christian friends see it as I was fairly young to be married and have my first child at 25. I see it as just the right age for me and God's plan for my life.

I think a lot of my non-Christian friends tend to live with the guys and end up breaking up before making any committments.
