What about Judas?

I agree with this as well but I heard last night from a Catholic that The Church had given Judas absolution...this is what I am wondering about. Is this true? I am hoping someone here will know one way or another..

Christy just ask the person to cite for you this understanding. Personally I have never heard that. The most I heard on Judas was that we don’t know where he is. He may be in hell- good chance he is in hell but we do not know fully God's mercy and it's limits to say that he actually is in hell.

As far as i am aware, it is God that absolves us of our sin, Christy. I don't think that this particular Catholic you were speaking to is a fountain of knowledge.
