It also seems to indicate that if Adam and Eve didn't seek the knowledge they did, they may not have saved Noah, and the rest of creation. Seems like the original intent was to destroy it all, because of the crossbreeding, but those who crossbred appealed to save a family of each of the races and store the dna for the rest of creation to start over again after the radiation from the deluge subsided. The planet was no longer a pangea, and the loose tectonic plates cause problems when they meet, but they were able to start over.

and here we are :)

So, everything from child birth to the internet is a miracle to you. Fine. I can always tell when sound reasoning is exausted - the remarks start turning to an appeal to religious authority, flavored with emotion.

I'm still trying to get a grasp on this one - "I said to within 22 feet of the waters surface----that means the marine critters would be well under water but not being crushed by being 100s of feet under water."

Are you talking about a total of 22 foot depth? Are you talking about 22 feet on top of the existing water level? Was it some kind of magical uniform water cover, where a 22 foot layer of water 'stuck' to everything, including the sides of hills and mountains without being affected by gravity?

Exactly what do you mean?

I'm saying 22 feet in depth under the water. All that was need was for few of any species to survive. The rest of your remarks I'll ignore.

I thought the FLOOD was the fault of the Elohim who mated with human females?

and the Fall was actually a Rise, we'd have had no knowledge had we not sought it

The term is not "Elohim" but NEPHILIM. The rise is the lie Satan tries to promote-----Genesis 3:5

For GOD doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil

HOWEVER, prior to this in chapter 2 and verses 15 and 20,
we are informed that man already had duties

15 And the LORD GOD took Adam, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and keep it.

20 And Adam called names to all cattle, and the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field....

and if they didn't seek the knowledge, man would be no smarter than any other creation. the really didn't want to learn, but we did. then they took away the secrets of eternal life. they were ready to blow all of us to smitherines, but they let noah's group start over again, wasn't that nice of them? and every time they sent someone since, we just got the messages all wrong. oh well

They weren't "Human", they were trash. The Sons of the Elohim, meaning they were Elohim, took the Daughters of Men, the females of the created. Can call 'em what you want but they were of the Elohim.. whatever.. history, ancient history

What was 22 feet in depth under the water? A marker? The floor? What? There are rivers much deeper than 22 feet.

What was the depth of the global flood? And when you're done creating an answer for that, what was the salinity level of the flood water?

Sons of GOD is often used by the Bible to denote angels, see Job 1:6

See Jude verse 6

You are being a difficult person. Any sea bed (a portion of any size & of your choosing) might have risen to WITHIN 22 feet, of the waters surface, at the height of the FLOOD, as a plateau, and your little marine friends might have been saved in that way. They might have clung to a whale or floated in debris. We can also equate that if the entire surface of the earth was smooth, and the sea bed were even with the land that the oceans and seas ALONE contain enough water to inundate the entire surface of the planet earth to a depth of 3 miles. It is just a matter of mathamatics..... The salinity and freshness varied from area to area, as it can now.depending on what the fountains of the deep represented.....

This thread topic is on the unlikelyhood of many species of fish surviving a global flood.

Two major problems for fish survivability -

1 - A flood of such depth, (covering the highest mountain), would result in a massive increase of crushing pressure on all bottom dwelling fish.

2 - Salinity levels. Freshwater? Saltwater? Brackish? Take your pick. Whichever one you choose, a multitude of fish species just got wiped out.

Assuming the flood happened today. Being pre split, this is not a problem, any more than water coming up from down below the earth.

Hyper evolution at the time made this no problem. The present remember is very different. Assuming sameness is the problem old agers have. If the sameness was more than an assumption, why, you may have a case. It isn't, you don't.

I am merely seeking clarification of your remarks so I can understand you better. I'm curious why you see this as me being a difficult person.

With miracles, anything we can think up, might have happened. However, you've gotten so creative with this one, other YEC's are distancing themselves from your remarks. There's another one here who talks about a 'pre-split' world and other fanciful explanations. Maybe you two should get together and compare notes.

Only problem is that there's no such thing as "hyper evolution." You dad-hoced it out of nowhere.

The bible is not nowhere. If you have some scientific basis for your claim, let's have it here and now. If not, cut the old age ad hoc stuff!
