Mass and energy are conserved in this changes in c. There are phsyical constants, such as the relationship of h to c. Mass and energy are conserved at the atomic level. The laws of physics require it. Astoundingly, consensus physics doesnt do the math.

I know but the physical reality of the way things are now would change a lot. For that reason I'm not convinced it's a legitimate point that really happened. I'm not saying "C" hasn't changed over time. I"m just not sure it's been exponentially faster in the past.

Probably the amount of "change" in historic time is the biggest issue.

Again, it does seem that the equations balance such that we don't have very different issues with relative mass or energy. Higher light speed would not superheat the earth, as some suggest.

Try putting your question to setterfield at setterfield.org. He is really a very nice man.

I"ve read some of his works and he seems to be a good phyicist. There is a problem with permittivity and matter as it relates to "C". I"m not sure if he deals with that or not. Maybe one of us could ask him.
