If you knew that you were going to die soon, what would you do? What would you think? What would you say? Would you just take it as the inevitable, or would you live your last days to the fullest?

I recall a man in church shared he was dying that week. Knowing in advance your last day isn't unusual.

The Bible talks about us being ready for him at every moment b/c he may come for us any moment.

I feel like I'd be much more motivated to witnesss to people I'd usually struggle w/............

I already spend a lot of time Bible reading & Christian study, so that wouldn't change.

I would not go for the world's experiences.

I was baptized as a baby but don't really think that's a real baptism so would get properly baptized (I still need to do that........)

I am sorry to hear that. I wish you had someone to go with.

It's not about going to church with someone. It's about community and growing in faith.

I wanted a singles community. I found one church in my area that had that, but I did not like the one guy leading the group (I'm an introvert and he probed into my life too much). Then the church itself, they had a sermon about water baptism that left me in confusion.

I was doing my daily Bible reading in 1 Peter 2 today.

These are the verses that popped out at me:

Verse 12 NIV:
"Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds..."

Verse 16:
"Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil"

Verse 20:
"But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God."

Verse 23:
"When they hurled their insults at Him, He did not retaliate; when He suffered, He made no threats. Instead, He entrusted himself to Him who judges justly."
