CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well you got a lot more than I did; I spent 7 years praying everyday that God would reveal himself to me, save me, etc. and I got nothing, nada, zero, ziltch! Maybe you should take your diagram and be happy with it.
Oh yeah and about the Shroud of Turin; when you consider the hundreds of people the Romans crucified in this fashion during that time, how do they make the leap that this is the actual shroud of the Jesus described in the Bible? How do they know it isnt from one of the many others who were killed this way? Am I missing something here?

Nope. G-d has always worked by putting together small pieces, from here and there. You ave lots of small pieces to put together, but you still arrive at the conclusion of G-d addressing the whole world via the Gospel of Jesus Christ

What's the answer to those that say it's all bogus because the scripture indicates that there was a separate piece of cloth for the head:
John 20:6: Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,
:7: And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

No, you aren't missing anything, as it could very well be anyone. But, I am rather amazed that the image is thought to have been made by light, similar to a copy machine, and they had no such technolgy in that day and age. I also saw the presentation on the History Channel, and there is a lot more to it. But the shroud is still a big controversy, and my faith doesn't rely on it. It's only something to ponder. By the way, the diagram that God showed me, was a diagram that showed me how we connect to God. You can ask him questions in this way, and you would probably get some answers.

I'm not sure about that, was the shroud placed over the other piece? I don't remember everything that was said in the documentary.

I'm not sure if this will work for everyone, but I'm thinking it will... it's at least worth a try.
One day I was overly tired, so I laid down. I started asking God to reveal himself to me... as I started drifting off to sleep. I was aware that I was begining to fall asleep, but I kept on relentlessly telling God I wanted to know how to get to his presence. I wanted to actually see him, I wanted to talk to him and know he was there, listening. I wanted more than just a connetion of mind, and I kept insisting that he show me how to engage my body and mind into his presence. Then my body went into a state of Lucid Dreaming. At the time, I didn't know what Lucid Dreaming was. I felt the complete presence of God, and it was amazing. He showed me a diagram that looked like this:
He told me that the spiritual body is connected at all points of the vertebrae, and this is connected to the Spiritual mind. I was feeling very connected to God's presence still, and he told me that mind and body are connected to him in this state. He showed me a close up of the brain and something at the base that was divided in three parts. He showed me the middle part as the very thing that does this. All three parts in the diagram were connected fully. The center peice acting as though a bluetooth to God. Then he told me when the center piece disconnects, .... the connection is lost. At that very moment, the center peice in the diagram disconnected. I immeidately lost the connection and woke up. I went to my computer and searched the internet looking for the center piece that I was shown in my diagram. It is shown here in this diagram:
It is called the Pons. I started reading about the Pons as I recognized it from the diagram of my dream. I found that it controls bodily functions while in REM sleep. I also found out later that it is necessary for Lucid Dreaming. I have Lucid Dreams all the time now, and see stuff that I would have no way of knowing unless it was from God.

usually how God shows people His truth is through the bible, it becomes real, for the Holy Spirit is working with you,
when this happens you can not read enough of it,...yes, we always have unanswered questions, we will pray at times 'Lord help me in my unbelief', but we know we can't leave, for God has shown us enough of Him, and His grace overwhelms us.
God has a reason He is not shouting from the sky for you Ken...maybe God wants you to humble yourself before Him, and have faith, and in Gods timing He will show Himself.

Well, I tried to give you an answer of why I thought God would not do what you are thinking... but that is only my opinion,... and so I told you to ask God for your answer. I posted a diagram about how you can speak to God and ask questions. I hope you try, because I think you will get some type of an answer.

I've answered you like 10 + times . It boils down to you read a few of the " hard teachings " of the bible , and quit being a Christian . You want , or wanted God to say " you are saved ken , 100 % " no ifs, ands, or buts, your saved "! Well it doesn't work that way . Christians need to perservere , carry their cross , get up when they're knocked down , have faith !
Once people become Christians then it is game on . Spiritual warfare begins , and the weak fall by the wayside. Satan pulls out his driver and tees off .." your not really saved " he says, and some people crumble under his initial attacks . ( like seed sewn on the path )
Your not an atheist Ken , your just weak, and spiritual roadkill to this point in your life . I hope you get stronger - peace
