I have a prayer request. My layoff date at work was Aug 2nd. However, the company extended my time to Aug 9th (no pay for this week) and interviewed me for another position. They will be making a decision this week.
My request is: no matter what the outcome - job or no job; that I will have peace with the decision.

16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
20 Bless the LORD,ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
21 Bless ye the LORD,all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

I have a job!
On my last day before layoff (it was extended to Aug 16th), I received an offer for a job in a different department. Initially received my layoff notice in Feb - been a LONG 6 months.
Started the new job yesterday - great environment! Everyone was very welcoming and helpful.
One area of my life settled - one to go!

Me again. I have another prayer request. Our adult son was bitten on the foot by a copperhead; I've spent 3 days in the hospital with him. He is now out, but still in pain and can't put any weight on his foot. Please pray for healing and relief from pain.
