Were you raised as a Christian or did you convert later?

I was raised as a Catholic Christian, but my grandma got me a Bible for my confirmation (ironically enough) and I read it. Then I became Lutheran. So technically I was raised as a Christian, but I'm also a convert

My mother was a Christian, and taught Sunday school. She raised me in Christianity until she got sick. She died when I was 6 years old. I didn't practice my faith again until I was an adult because I didn't have anyone to encourage me anymore.

I was raised Christian, but how I see it, we all have to make that decision as we get older to really follow Christ, we can't rely on our parent's faith for our own lives. it is a personal thing you know So technically when we all "come of age" we all make the decision to truly "convert" and follow Christ.

kinda beleived in god for a while, went athiest, considered paganism (never realy got into it thankfully), back to atheism, beleived in god, knew I had to get closer to god, saved, Baptised by the Holy spirit, now i love Him with all my heart! I was one of the self-indulging, God-ignoring Christians when I was younger{raised as}. In other words, I was "raised" as a Christian who never followed any of Yahweh's laws. Then Christ saved me through my friend...he invited me to his youth group, which I accepted. I became a TRUE Christian after a while, and stopped going "through the motions". I thank Christ for bringing this my friend, even though this friend was like my old self...

I was converted when i was 11. Sadly my mom doesn't believe in christianity so I wasn't taught from the beginning about it. But please pray that i convert her before she dies.

I was born into a Christian home. I'm a pastor's kid. It is a great blessing, but also came with a lot of expectation around my life. Something that was scary initially, but that I have now come to accept and even embrace.

My religion has always officially been Church of England, but only on paper. I'm not yet baptised or confirmed into the Church of England, but I do now consider myself a Protestant and do want to commit to attending church more regularly.

So I made the decision to become a Christian myself, although on paper I had been since birth. There was a period between the ages of 11-15 when I was sceptical, but that's to be expected I suppose.

Right now I'm struggling with being enthusiastic for God, but I'm trying to pray more frequently and will be attending a Christian college so I can grow spiritually. Though I'm struggling, I can't imagine not believing in God or His Son!
