Scientist crawled all around in them and determined they are nearly solid structures? Can you figure out what's wrong with that idea?
I've heard that from more than just SecHUD. Apparently someone floated it long ago and people who don't know anything about them assume it's a practical idea. But they would make terrible grain silos. And the technology to build them had probably been lost by the time of Joseph. Some person actually declared they were built by Joseph to hold grain.
Can you figure out what's wrong with that idea?
What's this then? And the technology to build them had probably been lost by the time of Joseph.
There is evidence that they in fact were built. And the use of some technology is evident. (Is their existence evidence enough for you?) In fact there's evidence that incredible technology existed, since there are ancient statues in Egypt made of very hard rock that are so perfectly symmetric that you need a laser to measure the error. What's this then?
Yes, I know. There is evidence that they in fact were built.
Yes.Do you have an idea?

Wrapped up in that explanation is a big problem that disproves it. Do you see it?Joseph built them to house the grain from the seven years of plenty that God said was coming.
When the seven years of plenty ended, and the seven years of famine took over, the famine ...
We're back to that. Why were they built?
Joseph built them to house the grain from the seven years of plenty that God said was coming.
Probably because they were looking at the pyramids as they appear today. But various people have estimated that they took much longer than 7 years to build.
QV my response to Ken.Not much room for grain, um?

Back a cement truck up to an empty swimming pool and fill it up with cement.Muon detectors. They've found only a few voids in the structure, other than the known tunnels and chambers, which are quite small.
Back a cement truck up to an empty swimming pool and fill it up with cement.
Then run your muon detectors to see if you can find any voids in the structure.
Are you just playing devil's advocate, like a troll, or proposing your actual opinion? But Joseph built them as grain silos, with nothing inside.
No elaborate hallways or crypts or whatever they were modified to be after the famine.
Read this post, note the date, and you decide:Are you just playing devil's advocate, like a troll, or proposing your actual opinion?
Sounds plausible.
Any reason they couldn't have been?
I've looked around on the Net, and so far all I see is the equivalent of: "That's a silly idea."
Does anyone have anything concrete to offer as to why I should think otherwise?

1. The spaces were filled in later, after the famine, when the pyramids were converted to tombs. Not hard to figure out.
- No space in the pyramid to store grain. And muon imaging has confirmed the fact.
- There were many, many granaries already in existence in Egypt, capable of storing the grain.
- A hollow pyramid made of huge stones just piled on one another would have to be mostly solid rock, or it would just fall down.
