Hi, I've been away from here for a while. But I too have had depression for about 10 or 11 years.
I think the worse thing I encounter is people not completely believing how badly I feel. I can to an extent understand where you're coming from. It hurts, there's no doubt about it. But I really need you to believe me when i say you are worth more than anything you could ever think of. God says so. So take it as the truth.
I know only too well the feeling of being seperated from God, or abandoned. I'm not just saying these things to make you feel better. I believe completely what I say.
Do me a real big favor. it will be very hard at first, but try and see what God sees in you. This is one of the hardest things you'll do, cause I too have trouble here. But do me one small favor and try. I can see plenty of worth in you. and I don't even know you.
Bless you and keep believing, God doesn't make junk. Okay?

Are you still taking the cymbalta?(sp) And taking it as prescribed and regularly?

And xistence, you are much of something, you are a fellow human being, a brother in Christ. So we are concerned about you. So no point telling us not to be. And all those amazing scriptures Lily00 posted, things that God our creator says about you. They are worth reading, they have helped me too.

I'm still taking the cymbalta and I go to a counselor every week on Thursday.

Thank you for that link. I read the post and I will think about this. I don't really want to take my own life, but at times the depression gets so bad and the pain so much that I feel the urge to do it. I'm hanging in there.

I do understand about depression. Please just keep on keeping on. Maybe it sounds like a cliche, but Jesus does love and care for you. Just keep walking a day at a time.
