CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

And Finnish artists. Hmm, I don't really listen to a lot of popular music, mainly just christian or classical; and I can't really name a favorite among them either. I used to like Nightwish when they still had Tarja as the singer, and my interest kinda faded when I grew up as well.

The finnish 33/38 version, in english the NIV. I actually have one in swedish as well, the Bibeln 2000, but I can´t really make much of a comparison since I haven´t done reasearch on the others.

yes, quite often when I was a kid!
I don't try to bring people into christianity like that. It's kinda generic. I gladly answer though if anyone has questions... And if there's a discussion where a verse would help I can quote as well, of course. But I don't have a special list of verses for making people christian lol!
