Hey, welcome to all you guys who I haven't spoken to yet! I'm Windmill. Yeah, I'm only 14 years old so I don't know much, but hey, think of me as your intern

Hey, just wondering, are we going to get any adventist mods for this forum? I'd apply the only requirement I don't fit is the age one... but I'll be 15 in less than 20 days!

I know that a few Adventists have applied to be mods but there is a 4-week waiting period before a determination will be made. So, we are all waiting. I'm sure that a decision will be made soon.

Here's a quick bio on Roberto...

I'm Live in Long Island New York and have split time between here and brooklyn over the years. My home church in Bethesda SDA, which I believe has a subliminal message in it( BE-THE-SDA... ). I graduated last year from Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster MA with a degree in business. I currently work for Stony Brook University and when I'm not at work I enjoy a bible study or two on present truth as well as the plan of redemption. As I stated before I don't know much but I like to enter my two cents where ever i can. I've just completed 5 months as a vegetarian(yeah, i don't eat fish either) And I'm praying each day that God gives me the strength to be an overcomer. I was on another christian board and got a gag order for "pushing false sda doctrine". When i was allowed to post again I realized that I have to get myself right with christ first before I could witness to others even regarding truth. I did an extensive study on the Michael is Jesus issue and I got a lot of " REBUKE IN LOVE" feedback. Anyways, i talk too much sometimes. I'll try to contribute where i can. God bless.

I was quite busy this last week you see. We had an adventist speaker come over and stay with us last week which was real cool, so I spent basically all Friday night and Saturday day and night doing stuff with him Pastor Yalden or whatver Though you Americans might not know him =P THEN, this week, I've been busy preparing for the south island debating competition. Heh, yeah, I do debating, arn't I so cool? XD But whatever, thats taken up my time. Today I'm also doing the main prayer at the regional, so I'm... slightly nervous.... but I shall survive XD So its been a busy week + will be a busy weekend.

I'm ad to hear you and others are leaving =( I'll miss you, and whoever else, we have a lack of adventists as it is =|

Sorry I'm late with this, Roberto, but I welcome you. I used to live on Long Island...in Islip Terrace. Stonybrook University is well known, my stepdaughter used to attend there. Their hospital is one of the best as well.

I really, REALLY miss living there, it's so beautiful. Just wish the cost of living weren't so high.

I can't speak for my fellow SDA brethren, but as for me, I love to hear about what people "feel" as well as what bible scripture they can quote for me. So feel free to express yourself.

Sorry I'm late with this, Roberto, but I welcome you. I used to live on Long Island...in Islip Terrace. Stonybrook University is well known, my stepdaughter used to attend there. Their hospital is one of the best as well.

I really, REALLY miss living there, it's so beautiful. Just wish the cost of living weren't so high.

For links on official beliefs, it's stated in the official website of course. Browse the left navigation bar for various documents and statements of the church.

The Adventist church has its Biblical Research Institute that answers a wide variety of questions.

Those 2 links are the essentials for anyone who wants to understand Adventist doctrine and practise. There are many other websites that also talk about Adventist doctrine too but as long as being the official stand, it's these 2. And you'll be suprised the wide range of subjects they cover. Bookmark them.
