CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

"you're voice is so sexy" <--- and other variants without sexy being used.
"you're so sweet" <--- that's always weird, the word doesn't seem to mean much.
same for "you're so cute".
There are probably others, though I don't seem to think
what I consider weird as far as how people have complimented
me to be weird in the eyes of most.

this was after a buffet lunch @ todai's & my cousin who is somewhat of a frenemy of sorts said this to my face at the table "wow... you look pregnant from the side when your sitting down. it's like, so cute!"

On the 'voice is sexy' - I beg to differ.
On the 'you're so sweet' - half and half, probably more right
leaning in your direction, for most contexts and order of life
events of such being said.

I always get told I have really good teeth. Once my b/f exclaimed "wow your teeth are really perfect!"
I get the teeth compliment too... from total strangers. haha. It's not a bad compliment, but it is strange.

But among the runner ups are ByHisWay who said "Stravinsk, there's something ancient about you. Nice" with reference to a photo that I posted from when I was 23 (23 and Ancient!!!!)...and it's since had me wondering...because she never explained it.

from a male who seriously loves his cheese...I took it as it was intended...but had to laugh until I had tears as he continued building on comparing me to cheeses he liked...
