  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I dreamed last night that I was exploring an ancient tomb in the Middle East, and as I went deeper I found pictograms and heiroglyphs describing Noah and the flood. I was very excited because this was obviously a major archaeological find, but I eventually came to what appeared to be an exit to the surface. Except everything was wrong. It was no longer the Middle East, but a place near my own home in the USA, and the sky and the sun looked odd. No one recognized me, and none of the contact numbers on my phone worked. I eventually hitched a ride in a car back to my own neighborhood, and while there were some familiar landmarks, I couldn't find my house or my street. A kind family offered to allow me to stay with them, and when I accessed the internet there, I found something surprising.

Apparently, in this world, it was a scientifically acknowledged fact that the earth was flat and the stars were just lights in a dome above us. I saw a map showing the familiar continents, but with Antarctica as the border like in most flat earth models. Furthermore, there was a layer of sediment buried at a constant depth over the entire planet, showing that there had been a literal global flood, as demonstrated by geological findings.

I quickly put the pieces together. This world was apparently where Noah and all of his ancestors had originally lived, but the flood waters had risen so high that Noah's ark somehow left the entire world and popped up on our (globe) earth instead. But then that led me to ask the obvious question: If the people in our world were descended from Noah and his family, where did the people who now lived in this world come from? There seemed to be a huge population, with a similar ratio of Christians, Muslims, atheists, etc. as there were back home. In fact, even most of the countries were the same...

I woke up before any of these questions were answered.

Dreams are a result of your brain "deep cleaning" overnight and processing random ideas that don't get a chance to process during the day. They seem to help with memory. They might seem familiar to your daytime experiences, but they're not doing any serious work.
