I have not been on in a while. I am finally scheduled for my weight loss surgery on August 28th. I am looking forward to getting this behind me and living as a normal person in body and mind.

I have been thinking about you and was thrilled to see your post. I am glad to hear that this surgery is coming together for you. I know you are ready for it and wanted to make this big step. I admire your strength to move forward with this decision.

I wish I could be there for you when you check in August 27th. I know how importat it was for me to have someone present when i ckecked in and got prepped for surgery. I hope you won't be alone.

Thanks so much for the kind thoughts. I am fully blessed. There is a website where I made friends who have had the surgery at the same hospital as mine. We have a pre-op and post-op support group meeting every month. I will have my mom and sister there too.
