I have been the hugest Weezer mark since I heard the Green Album a couple years ago. Then I went back and got hooked on the brilliance of the Blue Album and Pinkerton. Make Believe was released about a month ago and I've been listening to it a lot. So Weezer fans (I know there must be some out there), what'd you think fo the new album? What's your favorite song? Have you seen them in concert? Discuss discuss discuss.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

i haven't heard the newest album, but i like some weezer. when i'm in the mood for that sort of music, i really like blue and pinkerton. green is alright, though not up to par. there are still some good pop songs there. i don't think very much of maladroit, though.

Beverly Hills is the weakest track on Make Believe. Other than that, I think most of the album is on par with Green, possibly a little better. I think my album preferences are about the same as Jael's. But I will say, I was surprised by Make Believe. The shallowness and cheesiness of the lyrics annoy me, but the music and melodies are pretty decent.

weezer is my favorite secular band. i like pinkerton, then blue, the make believe, then maladroit, then green. over all, four solid albums, (although pinkerton, and blue blow everything out of the water) green, meh, i could do without.

weezer played here last saturday (July 9th) at the molson ampitheatre with the pixies, if I had known they were in town I would have gone. I love weezer. The blue album is a masterpiece.

I love Weezer. I've been a fan of them for almost 5 years. I saw them live a few months ago, great concert.

Dude, you're so lucky. I've never seen them, the last time they were in my area they played at the Long Beach Auditorium. My friend who's in my youth group isn't even a fan of theirs, and he got to watch them cause his teacher hooked him up with a ticket. But, after that night, he became a huge fan and got all their records.

Pinkerton rocks. It's one of the only albums I know that I can listen from beginning to end without stopping. Most of my other albums, I gotta skip a couple tracks here or there. I'm glad that Pinkerton gets the respect it deserves from most people these days, I find it out that it flopped at first, but I guess it just wasn't people were expecting from Weezer.
