I don't even think this is a disucssion thread but I need to vent a bit.

I was watching The History Channel last night after I got home from prison (Chaplain)
And there was this program on regarding the terrorist bombings in G-d's land.
And this Palestinian called "The Engineer"

I weep over Tsion always and pray for the peace of Yerushaliaim daily.
Today I am extra sad for my brothers.

To the Christian Genitiles that read these fourmns please take a moment to pray
for the peace in Jerusalem and Peace in Israel.

To my brethern who live there know that you are prayed for.

I guess I am just more heart broken today over this than usual.

Thanks for letting me vent

PG

The Pianist is one of my favorite movies of all time... of course I hate to use the word "favorite" in relation to such a film because it is so depressing and such a realistic movie. So sad and so true. Not many people have seen it, believe it or not. When I was flying to Nairobi this past summer they showed it on the plane and just about the entire plane was either crying or depressed.

Anyway, I can totally relate to you, Nehemiah_Center. I weep for Zion many a day because I dearly love her people and her G-d. Hence my screenname. Keep praying, keep supporting, keep standing up for Israel while others wreak havoc upon it.

I saw a picture on the news tonight of a Palestinian woman and her baby dressed in their motif and fully armed. She blew up and killed four Israelis. What is this world coming to?
Martyrdom in the name of their moon god is the only sure and secure path Islam has for it's followers to earn their paradise. Else they have to wait to see if they have enough good deeds to out weigh their bad ones and they have to wait until after death to find out.

I saw "The Pianist" too. Excellent movie. Amazing, man's inhumanity to man, isn't it?

Blessings.

Yeah, it was sooo hard to watch but I couldn't stop once I started. In many ways it was more realistic than Schindler's List.

There were good Poles and bad Poles, good jews and bad jews, good germans and bad germans.

There is hope in the worst madness.

Sunday night I minister in a prison

in solitary confinement Where they put you when you are not well enough behaved for
regular prison.

So the man in cell number 6 asks me can I pass something down to the man in cell 9
and he holds forth a Quran.

I looked at him and said
"Not in this lifetime nor the next I have come to give you truth not to spread lies" :o

Remember that the devil is at war with G-d and with His people. If we count ourselves with G-d's people the devil is at war with us!

He fights dirty - he kills women and demands the sacrifice of infants. He wants you dead spirtually and to stop trusting in Adonai Tsa vayot.

This gentile humbly counts himself with G-ds people grafted in by the blood of the lamb. And if the devil wants war then war shall he get. It's ok I read the end of the book

WE WIN!

Sorry I am not being very PC today but I just don't care. The killing has to stop and there must be peace in Israel :cry::cry:

Anyone wanna tell me more about The Pianist? I just finished Leon Uris' book Mila 18 for the second time (read it first back in the early 90's), and I haven't seen the pianist, but I noticed the mention of good Poles and bad Poles, good Jews and bad Jews, good Germans and bad germans, and of course it piqued my interest, as Mila 18 is about the plight of Jews in the Polish ghettos and death camps, etc. I also never saw Schindler's List, as I felt I would just never make it through it, but I have been considering trying to find and rent it lately.

Trust me, you would weep if you were in Eretz Yisrael and see the disasterous effect. Before last year I had not been in the land before the intifada started and what I saw was far from reminiscent of the previous 4 visits. Almost no tourests, shops shut, hotels closed altogether, bus's with half the seats empty down town. The town of Safed (the one Yeshua mentions when he says about a city on a hill) was quite a bussling city with alot of Jewish artwork, pottery, jewelry etc on sale on the streets but when we went there it was absolutely empty, even the Synagogue which was usually open for tours around was shut.

I pray that G-d brings peace to the city were he put his name in eternally, and give the Jewish people what they long for so much, just peace to live in the country that is theirs eternally. I also pray for an end of pressure from the UN and other countries to give in to terrorists and pray that America desists in joining in with the pressure also.

BTW ive never seen the pianist, but I did love shindlers list (its my favorite film of all time ever!), and Ive seen a few others like the 12 hour Holocaust movie trilogy, Sophies choice and the corey ten boom film.

Shalom and G-d bless you all and Eretz Yisrael

Ditto. To all of it, PG. I am often in the same, very unPC place.

I'm seriously afraid Schindler's List would just tear my heart out... or... I don't know...

I try to buy what I can from Israel when I am looking online to buy, because I had heard things are so bad.

Here is one link I have used to find things I am looking for:

It probobly WOULD, as I did cry alot when I first saw it, but at the same time its about someone who did something very special, he saved over a thousand Jewish lives and at the end it shows some of the Shindler Jews still alive today visiting his grave in Jerusalem. Not to forget its very well acted, but like all holocaust movies it actually had to be toned down, the true horror of what happened is almost unspeakable.

Oh and I like to do alot of my Israel shopping here: http://shorashim.net/ since i know the owners of this shop Rabbi Moshe and his brother Dove. They own a shop in the cardo just round the corner from the Western Wall *end of shameless plug* lol seriously though, the Israeli economy has been hit so badly, I have many friends who are now out of work and struggling just to get by. If anyone can help in anyway such as buying things from israel (they do lovely fruit!), taking a tour (trust me the violence is very localised) or even having your own Tzaddik box (sp?) I know the people of Israel would greatly appreciate it in this hard time. And as HaShem says "I will bless those who bless you"

Shalom and G-d bless

I notice you have Isaiah 40:8 as your signature....I like the next verse (Isaiah 40:9)even better!

More than weeping, we can help them by going....

I've started planning a tour for the fall called the "Bless Israel" tour. The MJAA also has a tour going so I'm trying to coordinate dates where I don't interfere with them but I was thinking about during the High Holy Days (theirs is later in October because rates are cheaper)

Anyway...the plan is to visit sites during the days and then visit a different messianic congregation every evening for worship with the brethren there culminating at Succot in Jerusalem with Barry & Batya and/or the ICEJ.

I hope to facilitate American jews and christians in establishing relationships with the body in the land...and the Ruach can take it from there.

Does this interest anyone here?
