Have I not heard you say, you are a monergist? Are you a pure monergist, or do you mix in synergism?
By your equation above, you equate good works with regeneration. I still can't see why you deny synergism.
Would you please explain?
Of course. Who stumbled and why?Hammster said,
So "they" in verse 11 refers to every single Jew?
They agree...as all scripture does.griff said,
So Rom. 11 trumps Matt. 7 huh?

Abe and Paul didn't stumble, so you just answered your own question.Hammster said,
Every single one from Abraham to Paul himself?

Do you even know what the argument is between monergism and synergism?
It sounds like you may be saying what I am saying but without having to appear as if you are saying what I am saying.
The place of tormment was prepared for the devil and his messengers whether those messengers be spirit beings or human beings.
Satan's messengers (humans) come as messengers of light. Perdition was created for them.
Did you see the part where he said that faith comes out if a regenerated soul?
Do you even know what the argument is between monergism and synergism?
Amen brother! Well said!
Because the child of God knows that he does not want to sin. So why should he blame himself? Why is it that man wants to blame others (Adam) or other things (flesh, sin) for their sinning, instead of blaming themselves?
Okay, so Paul was setting a bad example for us when he blamed his sinning on the "law of sin which is in my members" and then disowned it as coming from himself? That is purely human nature to blame our faults on someone/something else. Until one takes total blame for their shortcomings, repentance stands far away
It puts at least half a dozen questions forward , how may a Christian murder still be a Christian ? and how is a Christian without eternal life ?
There are answers but it takes some untangling ............

Your conclusion that repentance stands far away is a non sequitur for Paul cried out "Who shall deliver me...? I thank my God through Jesus Christ our Lord!" This is true repentance! It is unlike the "rugged individualist" repentance you offer which would not cry out to God for help and depends upon self for deliverance. I have agonized and have wept because of my sin. Have you?
Also, did you know if you put one tiny bit of synergism into monergism, you are no longer a monergist?
I saw the part he equated regeneration with faith and good works. Do you equate these also?
