It feels like fall compared to the 110s we had but there is still mid to high 90s forecasted so summer is still on just more "normal" now.

I think we are going to have a very early winter, already, some of our trees are dropping leaves and one tree is changing, gosh, we did not even have a summer, our A/C did not go on once here.

so somebody explain this 1000 blessings to me...

When the thread is over you can get a count of all the totals of everyone that posted in it and they are paid 1000 blessings for each post.... post 10 times gets you 10,000 blessings paid by the thread sponsor. The blessings are more meaningless these days but people used to flock to BE threads for blessings now it is just to hang out.

Two owners ago they had a "customizer" and you had to pay for an character and also could pay for a separate picture on the right of posts. You could set up your "home page" paying for everything and it costs to color your username, your post color/text fonts and a lot of other things you had to pay for like it costs 15,000 for a name change and there was only a few ways to get blessings.... 1 per post (none per starting/owning threads) your CF job paid once a week, you could buy blessings with cash like now, and you could get them in BE or be gifted blessings. We had a thread where a bunch of us would go out and find newbies and dozens of us would bless them anonymously so they could equip themselves.. It took months to get even 5000 blessings and you could easily spend them in the armory.

Wow, I can see where they really meant something then.

BE was the place to be. We had wild threads where people paying 10 blessings per posts were done in a little as a few hours and 100 blessings per post were devoured in about an hour with one thread I think 1000 blessings per post which was unheard of took about half an hour to complete. People would give others armor (character stuff) as you had to post a lot to get some of it and when they ran out of some stuff it wasn't replenished very often. Receiving 100 blessings was a good thing and someone giving you 1000 blessings was rare.
