  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Assuming you are talking about a song to dance with your husband?
Im not really sure, because I dont really want a dance. I would however still like to dance with my husband and my father. But thats about it.
Im not sure what song I will dance to with my husband, but I know I will dance ot "My Girl" by The Temptations with my dad.

But I like the song "Feels like HOme" By Chantal Kreviazuk (sp?) IMO is a beautiful song.

Speaking of songs, are any of you going to walk out with your husband to a non traditional song? I love thinking about this one. I think "Are you gonna go my way" by Lenny Kravitz or "Beautiful Day" by U2 would be really fun ones.

My best friend Mike, when his sister got married, they exited the church to "Its the end of the World as we know it" LOL it was so cool!!

Hehehehe...that would have been an experience!! ^_^

I'm not sure exactly what song I'd like to dance to with my wife...there are a few that I would like to have. But as for walking out songs, I'd definitely consider something a little more unorthodox...perhaps not to the extent of REM though! :p

Hmmm...I think it would be cool to have classical guitars play this song from Third Day called All The Heavens as the ceremony begins or something :)

Something else that I would love to do at my wedding, probably during the reception - I'd sing a song to my wife. It might be something that I write specifically for the occasion, or a song that means a great deal to us both. But I think it would just be a really special moment to demonstrate how much I love her and how much I would be committed to our future as husband and wife :)

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww <melts>
That is so awesome

hehehehe I have always wanted my fiance or serious boyfriend or a guy for that matter, to come stand out side my window one night and sing to me and play the guitar.

But it wouldnt work where I am now, since I live on the bottom floor... or at home because the way the house is shaped, my window kinda overlooks a peak in our roof... so I see shingles, oh and my dirty back door neighbours windows LOL

But maybe one day when I am married and we live in a two story house he will. Throw a little rock at the window and everything to wake me up.

Gosh Darnet, Im such a sucker for romance

Someone mentioned U2's Beatiful Day. That's pretty good. I'll bet there are probably some other good U2 songs that would work.
The only other one I'd consider using would probably be "All I Want Is You"...U2 didn't really write any other "love songs"...

I still don't get this whole dancing thing

When you're done getting married you go get some cake at the reception, hug grandma, and get on to the hotel :D
We had a big party after our reception which could have gone on until 1am. We left at 10.30ppm so no idea how long everyone else stayed and partied. Quite a common thing to do over here...least it is in my hubbys family lol
