How much was spent on the engagement ring?
Too little according to everyone we know; but I loved it and that's all that matters, right?

About the engagement, yes. About the wedding, definitely!

How much was spent on the engagement ring?
My husband spent just over $3000 but the full price was $5990 on a diamond special. A lot cheaper then what we were going to pay for a ready made set however we got to pick out the diamond and the design

How long were you together before being engaged?
We were together for 3 months. My husband proposed on our 3rd month anniversary before proposing. He asked my mother for her permission after 1 month of courting. We were best friends for over 4 years before that.

How long were you engaged?
We were engaged for just over 10 months.

What time of year did you get married?
We got married in February - Summer

Would you change anything?
YES.

I would have got the limo company to check their cars before the day! I got to the wedding over an hour late!

AND i would have added my sister-in-law's name in the wedding speeches because she walked out of the reception because she didn't get mentioned. (She is my husband's younger brother's wife)

Apart from that things were all good.

I didn't have an engagement ring, actually. DH proposed to me in his sleep LOL He rolled over, snored and said, "Baby? I reeeaaallllly want to marry you. Okay?"

Almost a year and a half.

Eight months.

What time of year did you get married?

The beginning of June. Our two-year anniversary is this coming Monday.

Would you change anything?

Not one thing. It was a second marriage for both of us. I had the fairy tale, huge church wedding the first time around. It's true what they say - the wedding doesn't make the marriage. My ex was horribly abusive.

Anyway, when Jim and I decided to go ahead and take our vows, we set a date and we both took the day off from work. I had always said if I ever got married again, I wanted a wedding dress that had pink (my favorite color) on it. I took an old pair of blue jeans, ripped the seams and sewed pink cotton eyelet panels in the "gaps" to make a denim skirt. I also sewed a pink and white apron top. I wore white flip-flops to the courthouse on our wedding day. My dad and sister acted as witnesses.

Immediately after the ceremony, we went to the bank to cash our income tax refund check that had just come in the mail and then we went to lunch. DH couldn't stop telling everyone we had just gotten married. It was really cute, actually.

I don't have an engagement ring. I didn't want to waste the money. Our wedding bands are enough for me.

Well, hmm. Oddly enough this isn't an easy question to answer, because we knew each other as acquaintances and casual friends for years before he started courting me, and I honestly didn't realize for a while that he was trying to woo me. However, from the time when I *did* know, to the time when we got engaged was...about 9 months.

How long were you engaged?
He proposed on July 3rd and we got married at the courthouse August 10th. We would have gotten married sooner, but we had to wait for his certified birth certificate to arrive.

What time of year did you get married?
Late summer. Courthouse on August 10th, and in church September 1st.

Would you change anything?
I would have bought different shoes. They kill my feet, so I'll never wear them again, and I hate wasting money like that.
