As Mling pointed out, the only rainbow symbol I've seen for gay pride is the stripe bands in a flag, not the rainbow arch like a real rainbow.

Loving all people doesn't have to include acceptance of their beliefs and lifestyles - true love of people is leading them to the one truth they need to save their souls eternally. And we do that by showing love of God without sacrificing His TRUTH.
There are many symbols in the world...some represent good and some represent evil and some represent who-knows-what. (ie The Artist Prince who turned his name into a symbol which meant absolutely nothing to me..but obviously meant something to him)Neither was the cross, but it BECAME a symbol for something different, so what's the problem with the rainbow symbolizing diversety (which isn't a bad thing) also?

Loving is a sin? What a strange concept?I agree with Chris - the rainbow wasn't given by God to glorify diversity... and ESPECIALLY not created to glorify SIN (as diversity includes more than just ethnicity today - but also any sexual orientation and all other religious persuasions).
God doesn't honor or embrace false gods/false religions or perversion and neither should we if we love our Lord.

well...yes and no, The reality is God is a lot tougher then people are (IMHO) and is well able to show people what He likes and doesn't like, I think His mercy and His patience are much broader then some of us have been led to believe. So while many worry about what may be offensive to certain people how about we be more concerned with what is offensive to God...
I personally praise God for His grace and mercy and patience each and every day....because I know how deep my sin is and there is NOTHING I can do in myself that will ever be righteous.well...yes and no, The reality is God is a lot tougher then people are (IMHO) and is well able to show people what He likes and doesn't like, I think His mercy and His patience are much broader then some of us have been led to believe.

Yeah I don't know why gay people stole God's rainbow and use it as their symbol but I think God wants His rainbow back. I haven't seen a rainbow in the sky in a long, long time.
I totally agree. We let groups (not just gay people) hijack simply innocent terms. I have two young daughters who rejoice at the sight of God's heavenly art work after a life-bringing rain. Everytime they see a rainbow, we all discuss how lucky we are to have God's promises. I will not allow any group to take that away. If anyoen else chooses to allow that; that is their choice.Well even the word 'gay' was taken over to mean homosexual when it originally meant "happy". We've submitted to that change.
If gays have taken over a symbol, then you need to be aware that when strangers do see you, they will probly think you support homosexuality or are gay yourself.
That's just the basic truth.
Unless you want to wear a tshirt that says "I'm not gay" lol or "my rainbow is God's creation"![]()

That's what others may think, so it's up to you & what's more important. (for me, I'd skip wearing it so as not to give indirect support of any kind).

Can't it mean both? I don't see how LGBT people celebrating their differances did anything to our faith. God made us all eaqul. I think celenbrating this makes god's creations even more beautiful. How on earth is a gay pride flag "taking away" God's promises?
Does every purchase of a box of Lucky Charms somehow lessen your faith in God as well?
Flyingsumo....you ate him.....I LOVE IT....next time someone doesn't like something of mine.....I'll ....EAT...them too....lol.....actually I ate a bloke the other week.....by the time I'd finished with him, he was the size of my pet rats breakfast.......did me good, and taught him a lesson....Ifr you wanna wear a rainbow wear if...if people have an issue with it then it their issue not yours.
One time a guy didnt like a shirt I was wearing so he made a silly comment about it. I ate him. Problem solved.![]()
