Wearing a cross

Sometimes I wear a cross, depending on how I feel. It has light blue gems (I'm guessing aquamarine). I always keep it on the bed. It makes me feel safer.

I have several cross necklaces that I love. I usually wear them with my peace sign necklaces.

I wear them for sentimental reasons.

I also wore cross rings for years (in place of a purity ring since I didn't need a reminder to stay pure) but they all literally fell apart from use. I might go back to one after the one I currently wear gives out.

I think it just comes down to personal preference if you wear one or not but it is fairly easy to tell if someone is a christian when they wear a cross or other christian symbols. Mostly when people wear a cross it usually has some personal meaning to a them.

I wear one, have been since 2000, I never take it off.

For me it isn't a fashion accessory as I rarely ever have it showing. (because I wear it for myself, not for others)

Back in junior high and such, I used to own a cross necklace that I wore all the time. My freshman year of HS I lost it on the bus on the ride home from a baseball game and have never worn one since.

allthough I am ashamed to say I have fallen out of the habit of praying the rosary

I've heard the term before but had to look it up. I believe I've seen then at the Catholic book store before.
