I follow footy much more than soccer, but that game tonight was edge of the seat stuff. That last save from Schwartzer was a beauty.

And it was so much better winning, than the last couple of times.

They did brilliantly tonight, but I reckon it'll takes more than what they gave tonight to go further, and I'm sure they know it. Our team have the fighting spirit that is needed to get to the top, and the ability too I'm sure of that. What I think they are lacking most is the time together as a team that a lot of other national teams get. They're gonna have to put in a lot of hard work between now and the World Cup I think, but we're in with a good chance.

We are going TO Germany, they are hosting the competition. Honestly we have no idea who we will be playing as yet, the teams are essentially drawn out of a hat (it's a bit more complicated, there are seedings for certain teams...).

What JSIW meant I guess is that Brazil having won the last Cup are the No 1 team in the world... mind you we can beat them! We did about 7 years back...

Say I heard today that Australia is ranked 54th and Uruguay is 17th! Me thinks Aussie will be Top 40 not too long from now!

Genius? I admit the lead-up passes were fantastic, and the goal was superb, but Kewell miskicked the ball while trying to shoot! There was no genius in that at all. Luckily it headed Bresciano's way when it bounced off Kewell's heel.
