My husband received medicaid the first of this month. So I got on the phone and found a heart doctor immediately. Funny how no one can help you until you hae some form of insurance, even if it is medicaid. Anywho, Friday he went for his first visit, and pretty much the doctor told him to quit smoking, or find another doctor. Wow~ I was floored!! Next week they are doing a stress test and a Eco cardia gram(Spelling I have no clue) And a closterol test. After the stress test, the doc is going to give him the nitro gliserine. And he said it those work with relieveing the chest pains then he is going to have to do more test because that means it could be worse than he thought.
Today, I was sitting in my mom's backyard just watching my husband mow the yard and I just started crying. This is all very new to me and it scares the heck out of me. I have this fear of being left alone with two kids. And my brain wants to picture all the bad things instead of the postive. Well that's the update, I will continue to keep you updated. thanks!!
