  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

We did it!!!

Finally! After almost two years of trying we're finally pregnant! We just found out last week. I'm six and a half weeks along. We're so thrilled. It happened at the most perfect time and everything. As our pastor said, "God opens wombs and closes them, all a part of His plan." Please pray for us, for a healthy pregnancy and delivery. The baby's due on December 10th! Thanks so much.
Congrats! Will be praying for you :0)

Keep remembering that.... it will carry you through. My little sister had my niece when she was 17 and the father left during pregnancy! It took her a very long time to figure out what God's plan for her was, but Cassie (niece) is such a blessing to everyone. I think God has a bright future for your little bundle as well for you guys. And also remember.... even as ready as most people think they are... you're never really "ready." Meaning it's always a surprise at the changes that occur. Love and blessings.

Thanks! :) I can also look at my life. I wasn't planned, and the daddy left while my mom was preggo. I grew up having a single mother... and that was tough as she was into drugs, drinking, sex, the whole works... and then I found God and became a Christian at 17. And life was pretty good... ended up finding my dad without even looking, as he has been an alchoholic since day 1 and going to a soup kitchen at the church I attended and volunteered at... he doesn't know I am his daughter, and of course a DNA would have to be done if he ever found out and wanted to do so, but everything he has told a friend of mine and what my mom has told me... match up! It's cool. ANYWAY, so I know God has a plan for my baby as He totally did, and still does, for me. I'm finding it hard lately with all the thoughts... thinking back on my childhood... I thought it went by so fast, but when I look back now, it took forever... 18 years (and more, cuz I'll never stop being a mom) is a LONG time, lol.

Absolutely! There's a wonderful song by Superchick called Beauty from Pain. I think that's what God does in almost everyone's lives... gives us some harsh experiences to learn valuable lessons from. Just think about everything you've learned from your parents indirectly: what not to do. You'll be fine. Just keep God in center stage and be blown away by the miracles He can perform. Love and blessings.
