My family has started a new tradition of giving out presents on the feast day for Saint Nicholas of Myra. After all, that is who Santa Claus really is.

In this way, we honor a great Saint and receive presents. We also reserve Christmas for Jesus alone. We go to Mass or Christ's Mass and celebrated Jesus' birth. This is how we give all glory to God on Christmas and no one else.

HOWEVER, for our family that celebrates Christmas like everyone else, we still honor their traditions too. But, we do so because we love them and they know not what they do (my little play on words and attempt at wit.)

We got an XBox One and a new LCD 47" plus some games. I love this new XBox One.

Praise be to Jesus Christ.
Santa Claus, pray for us.

I always want to call this "Punch an Arian Day" but then I remind myself that St. Nicholas regretted that afterward.
I thought I read somewhere not too long ago that that was not true. Maybe I'm confusing this with something else.
