We can learn so much from children

This is short and sweet but I wanted to share it with you.

Text my mum sent me earlier tonight (she's a primary school classroom assistant):

Winner of contest to find most caring child was 4 yr old. His next door neighbour is an elderly gent who'd recently lost his wife. Seeing the man cry, the boy went into his yard, climbed up on his lap and just stayed there. When his mum asked what he'd said to the neighbour, the boy said "Nothing. I just helped him cry."

Haha that's so cool

You know I work a lot with children (being a Kids leader and all)... and the thing I find happening most of the time is I learn more from them, than the other way around!

One of the biggest things I've learned is just the way they trust so easily. And how they receive love and give love so easily.

That's the way I wanna be with my Heavenly Father hey. You know, just trust Him and love Him like there's no tomorrow... without fear of getting hurt. Cos He'll never hurt me!

Get what I mean? Do any of you want to grow more childlike faith too?

Aww... that's so beautiful. I'm reminded of times I've seen young children get hurt or sad and their little friends have just hugged them and said nothing. Sometimes all you really need is a hug, yet people always feel they have to offer words. Thanks for sharing swee!

Passion4Hispresence, I enjoyed reading your post too. I agree that we can learn a lot from children and I too want to grow more childlike faith.
