I don't typically find Answers in Genesis a reliable source of information, but they would have zero motivation not to spread this story, were it true.

Don't underestimate us. I know some people who would yawn at said evidence.If you can show that creationism as espoused by the Bible and the Christian God is real, you would rock the entire world. Not just academia, but the whole world.

And although I would be surprised that there is evidence of creationism, it would "rock me" in a different way than it would rock the academic world.
