*~Watch Me Fly ~*

I havent felt this happy
since I can't remember when
I wake up feeling giddy
and my thoughts begin to spin

I close my eyes, breathe deeply
let my inhabitions go
then something magic happens
dainty wings begin to grow

I float above the rooftops
and soar through star filled sky
I love this awesome feeling
spread my wings and watch me fly

the closest feeling of soaring i've ever had was when i listened to a beautiful piece of music.

I know exactly what you mean. When I feel life's burdons are weighing me down I put in some uplifting music, relax and before I know it, I'm flying to my hearts content
