Was Noah's flood global?

I don't know of any method that would date lava to zero. Nor would any method I know about show the same flow as zero on land but millions of years in water. Got a checkable link?

In that land. But not in the whole world. God says the land was covered, but He does not say the entire world was covered. That is a modern revision of His word.

If we look at the grand canyon they say the layers in the earth were formed during the flood. Then if we look at the erosion that made the canyon they say that was caused by the flood. So which is it, the flood could not have done both at the same time.

Yes, but not very fast. A few centimeters a year, mostly. Now and then, a major earthquake might move it a meter or so. But not very often.

I was in college at that time. Lots of shocked experts, suddenly realized that the mid-oceanic ridges were centers where new crust was being formed, moving the old crust outward. And then the mechanism for Wegener's "continental drift" became apparent. It was a genuine revolution in understanding.

The magnetic poles do not affect plate movement or the motion of the Earth. They are the result of convection currents in the outer core of the Earth.

The Bible has many levels of meaning. So it is understandable if your understanding of this passage is different from mine. Although I am open to different theory's and interpretations of the Bible. In fact I do what I can to explain they are all valid from their own perspective.

"Every living thing", "every creature", "all mankind"... The text means what it says.
Even secular scientists admit that something caused over mile-high tsunamis that wiped out the dinosaurs. That it was an asteroid is only a theory... which is very unlikely. An asteroid would cause only 1 wave, but there were several waves...
Again, the problem isn’t the lack of evidence but the interpretation. Did it rain for 2 million years, or did it rain for 40 days and 40 nights like the Bible said? To believe neither would be ignoring the data- that it rained A LOT...

Who are "they?" The erosion was caused after the flood.

Noah's flood is a shadow and type of the flood that took place at the time of Pangea. 95 % of everything was destroyed at the time because of the change in the atmosphere. Only turtles and crocodiles survived.
