Was Paul Bunyan tall?
Eliu, there were hundreds of large scale floods in the past that we have records of. We can see both the erosional and depositional effects from those floods. We do not see erosional effects from a global flood. We do not see depositional effects from a global flood. If creationists could find these it would make global news.
Loudmouth
We see sediments forming right now, and no global flood is needed.
Even more, the sediments we do see are often separated by millions of years. Sediments that have dinosaurs date to before 65 million years ago. There is no global sediment layer that dates to 4,000 years ago.
Subduction
No, a global flood would cover the entire Earth at the same time. When the sedimentary rocks were deposited a good part of the sediments always came from... land.
So no, the sedimentary rocks are evidence against a global flood
That's why I have Boolean standards I use; to keep things balanced properly, so I won't end up interpreting It like atheists do.Sorry, myth has nothing to do with a debate about science. You might as well use the Bible to prove that pi is equal to three, that the Earth is flat, or that the Earth is orbited by the Sun. All claims that can be found in the Bible.

You forgot "The entire story including Noah is a myth".Civilizations that lived along streams tended to have flood myths. Streams tend to flood. Hmmm, perhaps there is a relation.
But I can remember dinosaurs fossils found ABOVE K/T boundary, and attempts by "scientists" to "up the line", but this would mess other findings, so that dinosaurs appeared to live a lot of time after their own extinction. And so on.
Although regional in scope, the flood described in Genesis was no routine flooding event. After 40 days of rain, the Great Deluge kept Noah and family on the ark for over a year. (And, of course, some assert that the Black Sea may be the surviving remnant of those flood waters.) So we would indeed expect the event to be remembered through the "flood stories" of those cultures.
Every question includes assumptions. This one assumes you believe in Noah's flood. Here's another one:
"Have to ever been so wasted that Rehab turned you away?"
I get a kick out of that one. I finally came up with a response,
"Oh that's what the message was on my answering machine!
I could not make out what you were saying!"
Noah was a real historical person and there was a real flood. The impact of Noah's flood has been felt by the whole world right up to today because you and I are still talking about it.
Today with DNA that pretty much makes or breaks it. Because you should be able to trace the generations of all four of Noah's Sons / children. Fact is the cities that his sons founded are still there today for your investigation.
I doubt if you have even read the Bible, so you are pretty much just offering your opinion on something that you know nothing about. Just how many days, weeks, months and years have you put into the study of this subject?
I said Edjunkated ... meaning educated.
It's a play on edjucated, which is a play on educated.
Yes, that is on the same order as "Have you stopped beating your wife yet."
I have already covered the impossible. If the flood happened it would be meaningless if it was not global. It would not have killed off the world's animals making the need for a huge ark (which in reality was much too small) superfluous. It would not have killed off all of humanity, making it a wild story about a man and his boat.
The act of apologists trying to say "Maybe the Flood was not global" is merely an attempt by them to dodge the bullet that the Flood never occurred at all.
I have a hard time figuring out what people without faith are thinking.
But they are usually mad at believers for something that happened in
their life and looking to blame some religion for the problem.
They talk about suffering in the world as the reason I should believe God
does not exist. But I with my teenage brother shooting himself in the
head at 17, they have weak examples of world misery to offer.
There are some problems with that. The Black Sea flood was thousands of years before Noah's flood. Also even the dates that they use for the Black Sea Flood are questionable as to just how accurate they are. Still the Black Sea Flood was an epic event, no doubt about that. There were people involved in the Black Sea Flood. They do find artifacts. Of course these are the same people that found the Titanic, so they got a little bit going for them. But then after having found the Titanic someone else registered it, so that makes you wonder if they are not a few fries short of a happy meal even with their fancy boat all their underwater equipment. I wanted to build one of those underwater camera at one time. My son figured out how to do it, we just never got around to order the parts.
It's pretty goofy but some say that all humanity stayed in a geographic basin.
Why all animal life would as well, I dunno.
Like this but with the rain on the inside.

We are thinking that you need to supply evidence for your claims.
That's not so in my case. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my time in the church, and my family members that are still in the church. Religious faith is just something that I partake in. That's it. The problems that I do see are human problems, not problems of religion. The truth is not always comforting.
Nice stereotype. I am not mad at any believers. My mother is a devout YEC, and my favorite person in the world. Nothing bad happened in my life, or at my church. Heck, I loved my church. Didn't want to leave. Fought to keep my faith for a decade. I abhor the suffering-in-the-world-means-God-doesn't-exist argument. Hypothetically, a god could be completely evil and make earth a living hell. The conditions that people would experience on that hypothetical earth would have no bearing on whether God was real or not.
It happened on Neptune and Noah and family were miraculously transported to earth after cruising for a year on submerged Neptune.
