There was some just cause for women to come forth, but it got out of control as most ideologies do.
False accusations were made and the victim/victimhood narrative took over.

Men, especially white men, are walking on eggshells in the private workplace and many
good warriors are leaving the military as the US Military has taken on the WOKE ideology.

to me, a woke is someone who whines and moans about having to do something that he/she doesn't want to conform to and also tries to find things to feel offended about because it's like street cred to them to be a victim who is oppressed.

So women, blacks, LBGTQ are whiners with no real cause to be offended, are really not victims nor oppressed?

Have you ever read Miss Manners? She writes about courtesy, kindness, dignity and respect for all people.
Gentle reader, I believe "woke" is also about treating each person, no matter who they are with courtesy, kindness, dignity and respect.
That would be my definition. "Woke" to the awareness of how I influence how other people feel.
Basically Emotional Intelligence.

It seems more a lie of imaginary compassion that has no tolerance for any disagreement.

Examples, to me, are if a person says “all lives matter” then the sign adherents will get mad and accuse such sentiment as “hate.” Or if science is to some people that humans are male or female ( what was once “common sense”) is probably “hate.” Or the Christian definition of love ( 1 John 4:8,1 Corinthians 13:1-13) cannot be in agreement with “love is love”. The sign says, “no human is illegal” does that mean there are no laws to be obeyed in society ( in contradiction to Romans 13:1-7)? etc.

That sounds toward the extreme.

Does a sign like “all lives matter” ignore the fact that black lives seem to NOT matter, which is why "Black lives matter" had to be pointed out in the wake of situation like George Floyd.

I think the thing here is that the immigration system is broker and we have unmanageable problems at the boarder. Of course we need laws. Humane laws. Dehumanization of anyone seeking asylum is not an answer. I don't know what the answer is.

This is a really, really ill-conceived thread.

But, no, Jesus was not and is not "woke". "Wokeism", to the extent that it's even a thing, is a utopianist idea that sincerely tries to tell us that if we would only do/not do XYZ, then we could create a society in which all the evils that currently plague us could be addressed in a fair and equitable manner, and we'd thereby create the society we are 'supposed' to have by the application of our own will upon each other. The common thread between all such utopianist ideas -- left or right, woke or not -- is the unstated but very present belief in the infinite perfectability of man without God. This mirror-image mockery of Theosis benefits no one but the devil from whom it came, and to attempt to tie our Lord, God, and Savior up in it is itself another Hell-birthed project.

And Christ our God did not come from Hell; He conquered it, which has ever since led the militant God-haters of our time to set about attempting to recreate it with their stupid ideologies. Leave God out of such terrible evil.

You know Harvey Weinstein's case in NY was thrown out?
I never liked him anyway, so don't look to me to defend him.

I served in the USMC and yes, people will use the military legal system to avoid
deployment, into combat and I saw it happen often among men. Sexual abuse
charges are a way to be put on legal hold and avoid being deployed and it's used
often which contributes to the sexual harassment rates in the military.

There is a big warning sign at the VA clinic I go to that says, "Flirting is sexual harassment."
The rate of sexual harassment in the military was predicted when they started letting
females serve in male combat units. The art of seduction is against social policy today,
but it's still part of our biology and will never go away.

Don't get me wrong, there are some legitimate charges against male predators.
However, unit cohesiveness is lost when females are allowed to serve in an all
make unit. Male and female fraternizing will take place and destroy moral in the
unit. I've seen it happen time and time again over my 73 years.

I just watched a YouTube video by retired soldier Pete Hegseth,
who just wrote a book on how good fighting men are getting out of the
military because they don't want to end up in jail for no good reason other
than they were reported for violating some new WOKE regulation. Watch for
yourself to hear what he says.

Aside from that, what could possibly go wrong putting biologically healthy young men and
women together in a unit?

Broader awareness, to accept sinful behavior in Christ. No Jesus was not woke, he called to repentance, as God's wrath was coming, which was a just and right wrath in his eyes.
