Was Charles Darwin a fraud?

@Joseph G I have to ask: why do you find a single video from Facebook, with no sources or fact-checking at all that would very much prove that it's a false claim, such a compelling argument to claim that Darwin was a fraud?

Since nobody else actually answered. No he wasn't a fraud that stole the idea from someone else. Wallace lived to be 90 and was codiscoverer of evolution from independent voyages. Darwin gets the major credit because he was working on it for a lot longer by the time they co-published Darwin had written a whole book Wallace a short paper that is included in On the Origins of Species.

They were inspired by earlier works, Evolution wasn't a new idea, significant numbers of people before Darwin likely subscribe to similar ideas. They just didn't write much about them other than noting that geological deposits contain different species in different layers.

Darwin being racist isn't the topic of discussion, nor does it impact the theory of evolution, and has been shown in this thread, his integrity was sound because he didn't commit any fraud.

Someone's racism shows a profound lack of judgement , and an inability to see the world in a whole truth. And mostly an inability to question his own conclusions. Meaning finding him ditch he built ,will occur often.

The dude was from the age where no-one knew about genetics! What did you expect? But the amazing thing about science is that people can take earlier ideas, along with new information gained, and then build on them. That's how science works!

And science shows that Darwin was, in the fundamentals, correct.
