Was anyone else let down by Twilight Princess?

I beat this like a year ago, but I'm still dissapointed. Zant? Fish.
Ganondorf? Not dead.
Midna? Please.
In reality, the only perk to this game was the transformation into wolf, and the possibility of Colin as the next Link.

What about you guys?
I only really started playing twilight princess on wii but it's got boring right now

It was an okay game, but it was extremely easy. You would think that the bosses would get more difficult towards the end but it's actually the opposite. I'm upset that they replaced the skulltulas from Ocarina of time with "golden bugs" I just hope the next legend of zelda game will be more impressive and not so short.

I have not completed the whole game, in fact, not much more than 15% or so, but let me tell you this. Ocarina of Time, in comparrison is much better, it was better for it's time, it had more deph, and the music was better, really atmospheric. Twilight Princess is good, but it did not have that awesome feeling that Ocarina of Time had for me. And the fact that they changed Gannan's appearance was bad, his face and nose is more flat now, and he just looks different...

TP isn't the best Zelda game, but neither is OoT.

TP's story just wasn't up to par. Nintendo matured everything about the game, except the story.

Hands down though TP has been the funnest Zelda I have ever played. Perhaps that's because it was so easy, or perhaps just because I loved everything about it. The graphics, the gameplay, the new weapons, the music, wolf link, and awesome bosses.

So yeah, story-wise I was let down with TP, but everything else was a plus!

I was actually somewhat disappointed with the controls. In combat, I would frequently find myself flailing uselessly as Link does not respond. I might be surrounded by enemies and am frantically trying to use the spin attack, but he just does a single slash (????) and then I lose 3+ hearts where I shouldn't have. Grrr.

I haven't finished it, but I just entered Hyrule Castle, so I'm really close. I was playing it on a friend's Revolution, and then he graduated, so I won't be finishing it in the near future. The story was meh, Zant was annoying at best, and the inevitable rise (yet again) of Ganondorf was frustrating. Can't Nintendo bring something new to the Zelda series besides "start out as an untrained kid, find out that the princess is kidnapped, hunt down said princess, find out the villain is Ganondorf, and kill him, thus saving the aforementioned princess"? Apparently not.

well they did try to bring something new, Majoras Mask. The story line is right after Ocarina so they didn't really have to start off Link as a kid who has to rescue the princess and learn all this stuff. But look what happened, Nintendo tried to change it up a bit with MM and people didn't respond too well to it compared to the previous legend of zelda games. I think they are going to stick with what works and sells best. It's the same with Mario. A lot of people don't respond well to change.

I think the Zant thing was an amazing twist! You really expect him to be hard! His infant like composure was HILARIOUS! :D

I agree as to the storyline though..it was lacking. They could've given it some work. But some parts were fantastic..like travelling under Hyrule Castletown to get to Zelda..and Hyrule Castle was spectacular..not to mention the fact we actually get to see in part what the castle actually is supposed to look like!

I don't think any of us will forget the glorious site of seeing Hyrule castle on the horizon in all its Wii splendor.

So all-in-all..definately NOT OoT; but what can pretend to compare to the greatest videogame title of all time? ;) The day they surpass OoT is the day they shock the world..
