  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I wanted to see Dropkick Murphys and Tsunami Bomb, BUT, BOTH of their new albums are utter garbage (to my ear)., and I didn't feel like sitting in the hot sun waiting to hear 25 minutes of new tracks that I don't even like.

So I went and saw Social Distortion with The Eyeliners (awesome) and Lost City Angels (poo:)) instead...great show...but man, Mike Ness is getting OLD...still rocks the show though.

Witnessing 32 year olds arguing with kids about what punk bands are and are not good on a message board makes me sad. Give it up.

Arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics, even if you win, you're still retarded....

by the way, if you get offended easily, you shouldn't have read that last sentence

It's all good, Yam. It's hard not to have a bit of fun with someone who gets his panties in a wad because I actually don't like what he likes...

wow, i felt the same way about Ozzfest. I wanted to see In Flames and Arch Enemy, but boths bands newer albums are pure trash, and, just like you, i didn't want to wait around, or spend alot of money to hear songs that i know can me much better...

Man, The Offspring need to call it a day.

I still can spin some of Ixnay On the Hombre, Smash, and even some Americana and enjoy it, but anything that came after that has been pretty bad. Dexter Holland should just stick to running Nitro Records and leave the ****** pop punk to the multitudes of whiny kids that grew up listening to him.

yeah, i have those three albums you mentioned, their first three i believe and nothing compares to them, and they are getting too old for this. Before their music wasn't pop-punk ish as it is today but today, they need to be that way for the exact reason you mentioned.

BTW, my dad listened to them when they came out, i think he still knows they lyrics to every song on Smash
