Warcraft 3- Advice please

My mother says that when I play a game of warcraft 3 I am drifting over to Satan's realm! She says it's even worse since I play as evil undead demonic beings (Undead race). I don't see anything wrong with this game, but my mother says it goes against nearly every christian value!!!!

Is this true?

Maybe I should play Night Elf instead? There can't be anything wrong with sexy elves

First, you mother is concerned for you. Take that into consideration.

Secondly, a game is a game. at your age, (i assume 15 is true ) it's important that you spend as little time as possible on games like this.

Remember the game is there for you to enjoy not worship.

You're wrong for playing it when your mom doesn't want you. And at the same time, i think your mom might be a little too paranoid. But the whole issue here is that you shouldn't be playing it if your mom doesn't like it.

I guess my only advice would be to stop playing. Sorry to put it that way. I know it's something you enjoy and i know you can descern your christianity but it's a lot better to suffer for a while than to enjoy it and have your mom start worring like crazy for you.

Do you think God would really want you playing a game in which one of the spells was "Possession"(From what I have heard this is one of the spells in the game)? Do you think this is really something God would approve of? Perhaps you should play friendlier less valueless games than warcraft 3, since do you really think God would want you possessing things? Perhaps your mom is right and you are venturing into Satan's realm?

Maybe you could just play as the Humans ??? have you tried explaining to your mom that it's just a game and thats all it is, there are far worst things around then warcraft. If that fails at the end of the day you should still respect her wishes.

I understand what your concerns are about possession, which yes is a skill in the game. I do love God and I also believe that my mother is a little too overprotective. 15 may be young but I think I should be allowed some free room to debate what I want to do with my free time.

I use spells like "life Drain" is this bad? Probably. I would probably not stop using hte dark archer anytime soon.

I honestly do not understand what is "wrong" with this game in a christian sense. I am not occupied with the game all the time, I am only level 22 on warcraft.

Also I cannot stop using Undead! I tried I really did try to use Night Elf!!!!!

Dude the number 1 priority is to follow your mother's wishes.

I'm not going to get itno a debate with religiousness that even chocolate bars with an elf on the label is sinful. I've been there, done that, it's rediculous.

So, if his mother told him to go jump in a lake, he should do it? I know I wouldn't. I think that when parents hear things like "Undead," they automatically assume the worse. I play this game often, and I usually play as the Orcs. I have even begun a story with a character I created. Is it evil, no, I don't believe so. For one, you are fighting demons most of the time. Is that evil? If so, then we had better lock ourselves in a basement and hide until the end comes, because we are going to see that in every aspect of our lives. Please, lets stop dissing games, because we don't like them. It's not healthy.

Was Warcraft 3 made by Satan himself? No? Well then it's perfectly fine to play.

The only thing you need to worry about is your eyes, if you stare at the screen to long lol.
