I see a high bar...I should be able to handle the matter as Jesus would have handled it--which would not involve killing anyone. Anything short of that that is sin.

I would say that the entire situation was swaddled in sin, and that such an action could not be characterized as "righteous" or pleasing in Jesus' sight. I'd understand that if I had had the faith of Jesus, the Holy Spirit would have guided me around that situation.

I'm not saying I wouldn't do it. I just wouldn't declare it was righteous.

Its against the rules to comment on whether someone is a Christian or not.

From my understanding of that rule that applies to a particular person or group of people. For example, if I were to say you are not a Christian or that all Methodists are not Christians then that would violate the rule. My question is basically ( according to you) is being a pasfist part of being a Christian is it not OR is it something that various Christians may have a conviction about. How important is non-violence to being a Christian in other words particularly as it relates to OTHER people being threatened.
