It sounds like things are getting really bad (worse) in the Middle East - Israel is saying now that Hezbollah has declared war on Israel. There have been a lot of bombings (by Hezbollah) and air attacks (by Israel) today, and Iran is now mouthing off (as well as supplying Hezbollah with weapons). www.cnn.com is providing good coverage.

I think that Israel needs our prayers - as well as any innocents in Lebanon.

I saw that on CNN last night before I went to bed. It's so sad. They were saying how many people were hiding out in bomb shelters instead of enjoying the summer weather like they usually would around this time. I agree, I think we all need to pray for what is going on in the Middle East, especially all of the innocent people who stand in harms way.

I agree with you both on this. It is sad, but expected that Israel is being hit this way. This is just one of the steps in Iran's vow to eliminate Israel. It is hard to imagine what is going to happen next. My prayers are definitely for Israel and her people.

I missed the story of Iran being behind this and I missed Iran's vow to eliminate Israel. Are you aware that Israel openly rejects Christ?
