  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Wall-mart?

Sorry, we don't have 'em in Australia :sigh:

Edit: None that I've seen anyway...

Don't worry, you will eventually. Walmarts are like McDonald's- they spread like peanut butter in an elephant pen.

Though I only shop there for less expensive stuff and groceries, I also hate it there since I used to work there and the management is terrible. But that's just my opinon only!

I shop there because it has the best prices on food (about 25% less than other stores), and it has wheelchairs with baskets.

I've watched the news reports that say it doesn't provide all employees with health insurance; but, the other stores here don't either. The people who work at the other grocery stores here say that they aren't allowed to work enough hours each week to qualify for benefits. So, in our town, Wal-Mart actually treats its employees better than the other stores.

Come to think of it, I get claustrophobic in Wal-Mart, and never anywhere else. It is actually because it is so crowded and the people are so rude here. It's a lot of reasons I won't go there to shop, though I'm sure they have some great sales.

Walmart is the best store EVER! You can do all your shopping there, cash your payroll checks, get your hair and nails/feet done AND save tons of money on top of that! I've bought alot of sleek and elegant outfits/jewelry there and I always receive compliments about them whenever I wear them. People ask me if I got my clothes from Younkers or something and when I tell them I got them from Walmart, they have this stunned look on their faces like "Oh my goodness!" ^_^ So see ya'll, just cuz you buy clothes from Walmart doesn't mean you have to look like it. You got ta learn to accessorize your stuff and make it look like you bought them from a high priced store. If you can master accessorizing, you can look like a glamorous movie star W/O having to spend tons of money doing it, know what I mean? ;) Oh and btw, did I mention I love Walmart? ^_^

I avoid Wal-Mart at all costs. :p

I need to avoid Walmart at all costs too! For somebody that was treated unfairly by the management. But I still shop there for everything. From groceries, non-food, Christmas stuff, back-to-school, etc. It isn't Walmart that gets to me, but the management that does.
